On Saturday the 13th of May MOFCC & Central Coast Football held the Men of Football round for the Men’s Over 45s at Pluim Park. It was a very successful day in raising awareness for MOF & 33 new members were signed up on the day. It was appreciated by all the O45 players on the coast as demonstrated by this email we received from Troy Walsh, 45s coach & player from the Southern Ettalong United club…
“I would very much like to acknowledge and thank CCF and the Men of Football Central Coast, for all their hard work in arranging the over 45 men’s gala day held on 13/05/17.
I know that these type of events do not happen without lots of hard work behind the scenes.
Speaking on behalf of myself and my team (SEUFC 45B) as well as many other players that I’ve spoken to from other teams and clubs, all your hard work is and was very much appreciated.
Darren, Alex and the whole team at CCF, (including ground staff) thank you for making Pluim park available, and in such great condition for us old fells to run around on.
To Mick and David from MOF, without your passion and drive MOF would not exist, for this I’m very grateful, as this is something that we all should be proud of and help to drive in the future as we need MOF to become one of the biggest things associated with central coast football.
So all in all a very big Thank you for this event, I look forward to this being an annual event, and hopefully we can also turn it into another major fund raising event.”
