Budgewoi Football club has commenced a Benefit Fund for Josh Ellery, a senior player who has played his entire career at the Club, and is also a hard working club volunteer off the playing pitch. Josh, who is due to be married in a few weeks, suffered a very badly broken leg in a recent match which has finished his playing career, and left him unable to work.
He and his fiancee, have recently purchased a new home and were in the position of needing assistance to help pay their bills and living expenses.
The Management Committee elected to make a donation of one thousand dollars ($1000.00) to Josh’s Benefit Fund, and following approval from MOF National Body the payment has now been made.
We wish Josh a very quick recovery, and he and his fiancee all the best in their future marriage.
