Keith Harris swam 50 laps of the Forum Olympic pool in order to raise funds to assist young Matthew Storey in his fight against Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
Men of Football members rallied behind Keith and due to their overwhelming generosity we were able to donate $13,000 to Matt’s fighting fund.
Men of Football have spoken to Matt recently and are happy to report the following
Matt was scanned last early Feb’13 – the tumors are continuing to reduce in size. His lymph nodes are all clear, his lungs are improving. He is in discussions with Westmead Hospital about the possibility of another Bone Marrow transplant.
We wish Matt all the best in his ongoing fight.
