Men of Football help family from IFS

Oliver & Katrina Ross have been doing it a bit tough. Last year Oliver found out he had bowel cancer & had to have surgery. Following surgery he had chemo. His cancer returned in his liver this year & he had to have a third of it removed. He has just started chemo again to be sure all the cancer is eradicated. He has not been able to work during this time. Katrina had breast cancer 5 years ago which resulted in a double mastectomy.  They have 2 sons, Luca 12 & Charles 15, who have attended the International Football School at Kariong for 3 years. The family have been connected to Hornsby Football Club for about 14 years. Oliver is an active committee member there and has been a coach over the years. A trivia night was held recently which raised $22000 for the family. MOFCC Welfare Officer Chris Rubie presented a cheque at the night on behalf of Men of Football which was gratefully received. We wish the Ross’s well for the future – “You’ll Never Walk Alone”.
